Welcome to my campaign website. I’m running for Lacey City Council because I believe in good government and I care deeply about the future of my community.
We expect 30,000 new residents within 20 years — that’s a 63 percent increase in our population! Where will these people live, work and play? How will their presence affect our transportation system and other infrastructure? How do we welcome new residents while protecting the qualities that make Lacey special?
The decisions our Council makes about these and other questions will affect our quality of life for years to come. With careful planning and some tough decisions, I believe we can keep our quality of life.
My priorities on council will be to seek improvements in our transit service, help residents convert from septic tanks to city sewer service, and incentives for redeveloping property rather than building new so we can save as much of our forested areas as possible.

I need your help to win the Nov. 7 general election. It starts with your commitment to vote. There are other ways to help: host a yard sign, give a financial contribution…
